Men's MinistryWhat is the 318 Men's Ministry?
318 Men’s Ministry is not simply another Bible study. Instead, we aim to impact each other’s lives for the cause of Christ and His church by learning, playing and working together to better understand what it means to be true men of God. Men who are not perfect, but who seek to be Christ followers. We want to journey with other men who seek to protect their families from the falsehoods of the world by living and teaching the Word of God. Our mission is not apart from the world, but we are to be examples to the world.
Where does 318 come from?
In Genesis 14:14, Abram heard that his nephew had been taken captive. Abraham led a team of trained men, 318 of them from his household, to pursue his nephew. This household of men was trained to follow God and seek after His righteousness while protecting the family against the enemy. Well men, this is our house and it is our responsibility to train up our house to follow God and see after His righteousness. We need to protect our families, mentor them, love them and help them to be men and women who follow Christ.
When do we meet?
We meet on the second Tuesday of every month. Meetings are informal, but informative in nature. Each meeting, we discuss a particular scripture reference that challenges and inspires us to be men of God among men of the world. We learn how to be better friends, workers, fathers and brothers. We also have guests from time to time to teach us new skills and ideas.
Are there any special events?
We have special gatherings and activities, varying from watching a Hogs football game together, to playing a golf scramble and even paintball outings. We also schedule men’s retreats to give us the opportunity to pull back from the fast pace life enjoy some time of fun and games, as well as Bible study and prayer.
Who can attend?
Any male who has completed high school and has a desire to understand what the Bible has to tell us about being men of God. You don't have to be a member of FBC to attend, just have a willing heart and an open mind. We encourage you to invite your neighbors, co-workers and friends.

You can join us anytime we meet and you are welcome to be a part of any special events we may schedule throughout the year.
