Q. What do I wear?
A.
As our guest, we want you to feel comfortable. We have no "dress code". While some members and guests wear their "Sunday best" many others wear casual and comfortable clothing. Wednesday nights are always casual. Don't be concerned about what you wear, just come expecting to experience the power of God to change your life.

Q. When are the worship services?
A.
On Sunday morning, our worship service begins at 10:30am while Sunday School begins at 9:15am. Our Sunday evening service begins at 6:00pm, and Wednesday night fellowship supper begins at 4:45pm, followed by a time of prayer and Bible study. Additionally, during the school year, we offer a wide variety of Bible studies and Christian Growth Classes on Sunday and Wednesday.

Q. Why is the Church so big?
A.
First Baptist Church is large enough to offer a wide variety of ministry, missions, fellowship and personal enrichment opportunities, yet small enough to maintain a sense of family. We believe that we have a spiritual obligation to nourish and encourage every one that God sends our way, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

Q. What about my children?
A.
Preschoolers and children (ages birth through 5th grade) meet on the first and second floors of our Preschool-Children-Youth Building.  Students in 6th and 7th grades meet on the second floor of the Family Life Center in “The Verge.”  Students in grades 8 through 12 meet on the third floor of the Preschool-Children-Youth Building in the “Upper Room.”

Q. What is the worship service like?
A.

At First Baptist, we believe that the awesome power of the living God is able to change people's lives. We try in each worship service to uplift the name of God, to praise Him in song, prayer, and instruction. Our songs are displayed on a large screen, so that you can sing along with our wonderful choir. On any given Sunday morning or evening, our handbell choir, orchestra, Youth Choir, or Children's Choirs will praise our Heavenly Father in an exciting, worshipful way. Our Pastor, Rick Grant, will share a message that is taken straight from the word of God and deals with the problems and issues that face you every day. You will have the opportunity to follow along by filling in the blanks of your worship guide to enable you to carry the message with you throughout the week.

Q. What if I want to join?
A.
You will always have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord at the end of each worship service. If you already have a personal relationship with Jesus and are looking for a church home we will rejoice in your decision to join with us in following the risen Savior.
