Website Redesign

If you've been to our website in the last couple of weeks, you've noticed we've given our home on the web a fresh, new look.  I'm excited about the new design and hope it provides you with a great browsing experience, information and online community.

One of the biggest advantages of the new site is its responive design, meaning it looks and navigates great on mobile devices and tablets as well as desktop browsers.  This new, responsive site is built as a replacement for the mobile app we released early last year.  The old app is no longer supported, so be sure to delete it and start using the web app instead. For iPhone and iPad users, below are instructions on how to add an app icon to your homescreen.

1. Open Safari and go to fbcbenton.org.  Tap the "Add To" button on the bottom menu.

2. Tap the "Add To Home Screen" button

3. Change the name of the tab to your liking.  A shorter name will look better on your homescreen.  Using "First Benton" or "FBC Benton" works great.  After changing the text, tap the "Add" button at the top right.

4. An icon will be added to your homescreen.  You're done!

Another change you will see soon are blog posts from our team.  Several of us will share about ministry events, serving opportunities and FBC news to help keep you connected and engaged.

I'm really excited about these changes, and I'll let you know when new content and features become available.  We are still developing the site and more content is in the works.  In the meantime, I encourage you to connect with us on Facebook and Twitter for news and encouragement during the week.

God is doing neat things in the life of our church, and it's my prayer that you don't miss out on the opportunities and blessings ahead.

Have a great week!

Great redesign! While looking for a staff member's email address I realized I couldn't find a bio page for church staff members. I think this would be good for visitors to our church who are not familiar with the staff. Maybe I am just not looking in the right spot or yall are planning on adding it at a later date. Just thought it would help new members put a name with a face. The site looks great!

Mitch, we are updating our team page with new photos and will have it active soon.... Hopefully late next week. It will be under the "About Us" menu.

A full list of Life Groups and Christian growth classes will be added soon as well. There is still a lot of content in development, so check back often.

Thanks for your feedback and have a great week!

Brad
